Western Dhofar

Day 1 – West Dhofar Exploration & Dhalkut

Begin your journey westward from Salalah, passing Raysut Port en route to Mughsail Beach, known for its long coastline and scenic lagoon. Make a short stop to take in the views.

Continue along the dramatic hairpin mountain road դեպի Jebel Al Qamar, offering panoramic views of the coastline.

Drive through valleys where naturally growing frankincense trees can be seen. Take a short walk to experience the landscape.

Proceed further west to the remote fishing village of Dhalkut, near the Oman–Yemen border. Explore the village, see a rare baobab tree, and experience local coastal life.

Return via the mountain route to Mughsail Beach, where you can relax and spot migratory birds around the lagoon.

Return to the hotel.
