Day 1 – Sunset Desert Safari & Ubar

Depart in the afternoon with a 4×4 drive towards the Qara Mountains, offering views over the Salalah plains.

Continue to Wadi Dawka (UNESCO site), known for its natural frankincense trees, and learn about their historical significance.

After a short stop at Thumrait, cross the vast gravel desert of Al Nejd.

Visit the Lost City of Ubar (UNESCO site), the legendary “Atlantis of the Sands.”

Proceed into the Empty Quarter (Rub Al Khali), where you can explore the dunes and take in panoramic desert views.

Enjoy a sunset over the desert before returning to the hotel.
